Shane Staley is the managing publisher of DarkFuse. He is considered by many as one of the most influential editors and publishers of the modern era horror scene. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of the legendary specialty press Delirium Books (1999-2012). Staley started his publishing career in 1995 with a ‘zine called The Darklands Project. Since then, he has published more than 200 books in his career and has been a part of launching some of the most important writing careers in the horror genre.
Greg F. Gifune
Greg F. Gifune is the senior editor at DarkFuse. Often described as one of the best writers of his generation, he is not only an acclaimed internationally published novelist, but also an accomplished editor. For seven years he was Editor-in-Chief at Thievin’ Kitty Publications, publishers of anthologies, novellas, poetry collections and the acclaimed fiction magazines The Edge: Tales of Suspense and Burning Sky, where he helped launch the careers of many name writers working in various genres today, including publishing the first short story by Khaled Hosseini, who went on to pen the international bestseller, The Kite Runner.
Dave Thomas is an associate editor at DarkFuse. He is a longtime small-press book collector and has been working as an editor in the horror genre since the early 2000s. A member of the Editorial Freelancers Association with an MA in Communications, he has worked on the novels of Ed Lee, Jack Ketchum, Daniel Keyes, Richard Laymon, Jeff Strand, Ronald Malfi, and many others.
Zach McCain is an internationally published artist who is primarily known for his illustration and cover artwork in the horror and science fiction genres. His work ranges from book and magazine illustration to graphic design, album art and RPG games. Mediums often used are oils as well as pencil, ink, and digital. He resides in Texas near the Gulf Coast.
Patrick Zonn has been working in media departments since graduating college. He’s bounced from small town to big city and back again, in local newspapers and in NY magazines. He’s worked briefly in the horror genre on staff at both Horror Mall and Delirium Books. He’s a fan of Halloween, the movies and the holiday, and finds himself right at home promoting the darker side of humanity.
Richard Patrick Spencer
Richard Spencer began his career in the horror genre after getting accepted in a Delirium Books’ anthology in the early 2000s. He is a career marketing professional who has worked for corporations and small businesses. As a side project, he works as a marketing consultant to a few internet celebrities, independent product brands and several sports figures.

Eric Shapiro is a writer and filmmaker. His first feature film, “Rule of 3” (2010), won awards at the Fantasia International Film Festival and Shriekfest, and had its U.S. premiere at Fantastic Fest. His second feature film, “Living Things” (2014), was endorsed by PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals) and distributed by Cinema Libre Studio. In 2015, he won the 19th Annual Fade In Award for Thriller Screenplays. He lives in Northern California with his wife, Rhoda, and their two sons.
Erin Sweet Al-Mehairi
Erin Sweet Al-Mehairi has Bachelor of Arts degrees in English, Journalism, and History. She owns Addison’s Compass Public Relations and Hook of a Book Media and Publicity. She has over 20 years experience in the public relations and marketing fields, and all the intricate categories within those, and within the latter business, currently works for many authors and publishers.
